I am an Athletic Development Coach for Pacific Ridge School in Carlsbad, CA. Since 2007, I have worked with athletes typically ranging from middle school up through college. Growing up in a small town in the mountains of Vermont I play sports throughout my childhood and adolescence. In college, I transferred to San Diego State in 2007 to finish a degree in Kinesiology and intern with the SDSU strength and conditioning program. I've also interned and worked summer strength and agility camps at the Bishop's School in La Jolla, CA with coach Charlie Johnson. I'm now the strength and conditioning coach for Pacific Ridge School since 2009.
I am CSCS certified, TPI Junior Level 2, and Youth Fitness Specialist by IYCA. I'm a regular member on Mike Boyle's Strengthcoach.com forums and have had articles posted multiple times.
I have also teamed up with Brain Highways and Nancy Green to develop a youth athletic development program that aims to teach kids how to practice at their edge, stay present, and provide information for long term athletic development.
In my free time you can catch my playing basketball, attempting to surf, and learning the guitar. Being from the mountains I still love to snowboard, hike, and enjoy the outdoors.
